Cox in Rome

If I thought there were a lot of tourists in Dubrovnik, I was highly unprepared for how many were in Rome, even though it is off season.

Because I’d been to Rome before, after checking into my hostel and getting some groceries I went out to go wander around and see the typical touristy sites – without having to commit to going in.

I finally made it to the Trevi Fountain and had my Lizzie McGuire moment after it being closed the last time I was here.

I also got gelato because obviously and wandered around some more before calling it an early night.

The next day I did some more aimless wandering around the city and spent a lot of time people watching while having a coffee.

I also found a store selling Christmas things in October because Rome has no chill.

I also found an IKEA which looks much fancier here than they do at home.

That evening I treated myself to a nice pasta dinner and then went back to the hostel to get my life in order for travelling to Spain. I

It was nice to be back in Rome if only to see the Trevi Fountain!
